Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course, we will discuss the educator paradigm as a life-long learner. We begin our discussion with characters of the people of the Millennium that leads to a greater demand for learning. Then, the discussion is followed by the knowledge triangle (KT) i.e. education, research and innovation. The KT concept has grown in prominence because it emphasizes an integrated approach to the connections between research, education and innovations. The discussion continues with the paradigm shift in education, which highlights a comparison between teacher-centred and learner-centred. It also relates to modern learning strategies that consist of six components, namely conversation response, abstraction and creativity, play, community interaction, media literacy and self-directed
