Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION
In designing a learning programme, the understanding of learning theories (refer to Chapter 1) and the practice of teaching is very important. A good understanding of learners (and the various dimensions that influence their learning behaviour) is equally important. Such knowledge allows an educator to adopt a pedagogical approach effectively. Pedagogical approaches refer to the approach that an educator adopts in designing the learning processes that he or she hopes to take place in the classroom (physical and/or online). This is referred to as the science and art of teaching.
